ya do what ya gotta do

Trying to pack up a house with Daisy around is proving to be quite challenging! I find that when I put her in the carrier though, she's much happier..and I tend to get more done as well!

Oh, and to the hubs, as well! I can't believe it's been 5 years! 5 years since I said 'I do', and just about 7.5 years since I've had this guy in my life. I love you, Josh! Can't wait for our date! And in honor of this day I post this:

daisy's letter

Since Daisy was born I would lay down in bed exhausted and think to myself, "shoot, I forgot to write down stuff about Daisy". I always had really good intentions of keeping a diary, but never the recall to follow through on it. Then I realized for as much time as I spend on the computer, I could be writing this stuff down. Thus the idea for "a letter to my sweet girl" was born. I know, no one else has thought of doing that, right? Well, I never claimed to be the brightest bulb in the box. =) So anyway, I've been writing this letter for several days now, and just tonight I finally found the blogger template that is just so perfect. I don't know why, it just fits and seems to capture the feeling I want for the blog. It's simple, clean, natural. I just love it. You can see it here. tight fit

My baby is growing!! Things are getting a little tight in the bassinet. I seriously did not think it would be this hard for me to move her to her crib. (Mind you, her crib is literally about 5-6 steps from my bed, right in the very next room, right against my own bedroom wall.) Gee whiz, if I can't move her to her crib, what am I going to do when she needs to go to Kindergarten? Oh my soul.
