I went shopping today. I am usually not one to enjoy shopping unless I am looking for something specific, but there are a couple stores that I love going in no matter if I need something or not. Old Navy - my favorite clothes store, and JoAnn Fabrics - one of my favorite craft stores. The JoAnn's that I go to here in Nashville is AMAZING. I mean, maybe I've just always went to the small town JoAnn's before, but this one blew me away the first time I went in. It's HUGE! I can literally walk around in there for a couple hours and not even realize it. Josh hates it when I want to go there and he's with me. =) Today I was there and found this fleece for a blanket for Daisy. I originally wanted purple for the solid color, but the pink was $3 less a yard so hey, I can live with the pink! I just love how bright it is and thought it would be perfect. AND I had a coupon.....I LOVE using coupons!
I've also started an Etsy shop. I know, crazy time to start something new, right? Well, call me crazy but it makes me feel like I am still doing what I can to earn a little money since I will be quitting my job soon. I know it probably won't generate much, but it's something that I love to do and so I thought I would give it a shot. So far I've made three fleece blankets that I've put up in the shop, and I have TONS of ideas swirling around in my head for more things. Today JoAnn's was having a sale where ALL of their McCall's patterns were $1.99!!!! Those buggers are normally between 14 and 16 bucks so I jumped on that. I came away with some really cute crafting ideas that I'm excited to try out.
