a little girl and her frog

Up until a couple weeks ago, Daisy hadn't really picked a favorite toy. I mean, she would have her go to toys in her basket that she would always pull out, but nothing that she really clung onto and took to bed or anything...well except her binky. One day I was changing her diaper and to keep her busy, a.k.a. keep her from fussing about it, I handed her this frog that I had put on top of her wardrobe. It was love at first sight. This was a frog that we had gotten as a baby shower gift from someone in our church in MD. I've always like it. It's kind of different and it's not your typical little girl stuffed animal like a teddy bear or puppy dog. She sleeps with it, and if it's not in her crib when she's going to bed, she looks for it. I don't know if it will turn into something she hangs onto for a long time, but I've only got one so hopefully he lasts a while!
