TCW

I went pretty original with the title on this one. TCW. Stands for Target, CVS, and Walgreens.

This will be a quick post. First, Target:

I didn't take a picture of everything. Partly because I have already dispersed it to it's rightful places, and partly b/c I didn't feel like trying to fit it all in one picture. So I just took a picture of the biggest deal from the loot. This is eight, 10 lb bags of kitty litter. I also bought 2 jars of Classico red sauce, 2 jars of Classico white sauce, 2 boxes of 9ct Bagel Bites, 4 bottles of Nesquik strawberry milk, and 6 bags of kitty treats. Total before coupons: $42.80 (the litter was on sale for $1.77! nuts.) Total actually paid: $13.82 before tax.

CVS ~ 1 box of 82ct Pampers diapers, 2 tubes of Colgate toothpaste, 1 pack 24ct bottled water (we have good water so I don't normally buy bottled water, but this was completely FREE so...who am I to be picky?), 2 64oz bottles of Welch's grape juice, 3 bottles of baby powder, 1 bottle of baby lotion, and 1 bottle of baby bubble wash, 2 cans of Campbell's chicken noodle soup, 2 cans of Campbell's tomato soup, and 1 bottle of Dawn dish detergent. Total before coupons: $55.86. Total actually paid: $21.47 before tax. (That's less than the regular price of those Pampers!!!

Walgreens ~ 2 bottles of Softsoap body wash, 2 packs of 12ct Cottenelle toilet paper, 4 boxes of Royal pudding, and 1 bottle of Dawn dish detergent. Total before coupons: $21.29 Total actually spent: $6.70 before tax.

I am loving this coupon thing. Yes, it is very frustrating, and a lot of hard work, but it is so worth it! Trying to make things work with debt and being a stay at home mom has been trying, to say the least, but my couponing efforts have enabled us to "survive". =) I really feel like I am doing my part, so to speak, in helping us to live better and manage our money more wisely.

  1. VERY awesome! Isn't it weird to even think about all the money we wasted the last 6ish years of married life?
